MANUFACTURED THE FIRST COMPONENT OF THE INSERT FOR THE BLADE IN SECTORS

In the Boreas NT facilities, the first components for the carbon fiber insert, the basics of the new concept for manufacturing blades in different sections, have commenced their manufacturing.

The system has the great advantage of allowing further disassembling if required and its weight is very low, not altering the mass and inertia distribution of the blade where it is being used. In addition, the system has been designed to allow its use with current blades, not requiring any modification of their current structure or manufacturing process.

This insert is being manufactured with UD carbon fiber prepregs to ensure the best strength and stiffness while maintaining an excellent geometry tolerance.
